I can't speak for anyone else except retired people who rediscovered a love of making art and need something to haul everything around while they pursue this. There's a long pocket which works fine for a lightweight easel. Other pockets for stuff, and we haven't even gotten to the nice internal storage pocket. Lightweight, with handles in strategic spots. Ample zippers.
- Holds everything I need for class
- The bag may not have enough padding to protect against bumps and jolts
