I needed a monitor stand this wide (32 inches) and 5 to 6 inches high, and finding one was like meeting a pink striped unicorn. I really like the concept of the different length pens and they are decent quality. But in today's world, this thing should cost about half what they're charging. I've seen glass stands with metal legs and would love to go that route, but they were either too narrow or too wide. As you can see from my setup I couldn't even fit 1 inch wider. And the reason I needed the width is because I rotate different DACs and some are up to 17 inches wide. This width, together with my Bel Canto power amp, leaves several centimeters of play between the pins/legs. I rated them a 3 because they are overpriced and not very durable. It wobbles quite easily and is a bit unstable, so I have to be careful not to scratch my beautiful bookshelf speakers with the bezel of my 32-inch monitor. My weight is well below the limit so this is not the cause of the instability. The nature. These are threaded "legs" made out of very cheap, hard plastic and not molded very well, rather than absorbent rubber. For the price the shelf should have way better legs than this one! Very disappointed in that aspect so I'll look at better legs.
