I'm a grown up and still love to see pop up sponges swell! My daughters are young people and they didn't know what the cute things were so I told them to take them to the sink and add water. you love her! These are fun bath toys or sensory toys for kids. Squeezing a sponge and using it to pour water from one container to another, washing dolls, etc. is good for developing fine and gross motor skills, promoting language development, and encouraging scientific thinking and problem solving. So many learning opportunities in the tub, baby pool or water bowl. I use them in the kitchen. They feel softer and firmer than regular cellulose sponges and I prefer them.
