I bought the Bissell Crosswave floor cleaner but I also bought extra rollers and filters for this item because there is only one roller and one filter. I always buy extra parts. I can use another roller if the first one is wet and still drying. This combo brush and cloth roller cleaner cleaned my kitchen tiles so well I was shocked at the dirty water. I didn't need any special rollers for animal hair. I would also like to point out that this floor cleaner works much better than my old Floor Mate.
