Review on πŸ’» Asus Prime X299-A II ATX Motherboard (Intel X299) LGA 2066, 12 IR3555 Power Stages, DDR4 4266 MHz, Triple M.2, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, Intel LAN with Aura Sync RGB Lighting by Jagvir Singh ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent product, the best quality.

A good motherboard at a reasonable price. I have also attached a snapshot showing the temperatures of the VRM after 24 minutes of running Prime with the processor using more than 330 watts. From a distance of two to three centimeters, a screw with a diameter of 120 mm and a rotational speed of 1200 is used to blast the radiator. The rates will be significantly higher if there is no breeze.

Pros
  • 1. This is an updated and improved version of the X299 boards, and it is compatible with the 1xxxx series (Cascade Lake-X). Strong power supply with 2x8 sockets; already supports up to 256GB of RAM; full support for Cascade Lake-X processors is included out of the box. Before it was msi x299 tomahawk, so it turned off already at less than 350 watts of power to the processor. Now, however, it is not frightening to overclock a 14th core on it. A review of it can be seen on this page that I wrote. 2. In addition to that, it features a Flashback (a BIOS crash? - not a problem).
Cons
  • They are nowhere to be found.
