I purchased this because the scale I had been using was not stable. The weights displayed jumped up and down even when there was nothing on the scale. The KitchenTour Coffee Scale with timer is rock solid and easy to use. What that translates to is that you can easily make great coffee repeatably. I use the pour over method to make my coffee and I measure out my beans on the scale (1/10 gram resolution), put the ground beans in the in the filter in the filter basket and place it in the carafe on the scale. Then I zero the scale (super easy to do), start pouring-over the hot water and set the integrated timer. In a few minutes I have great coffee. Would I buy it again? Yes, without hesitation.
