When ordering this collar, order some mink oil and wipe the collar down to protect it from water and to hide any scuffs or scratches. When the collar arrived and we fitted it for our pup, she scratched in a few spots. It wasn't very noticeable and after treatment with mink oil, they disappeared. The collar design is awesome. You no longer have to climb under the loop of the leash and catch it. I will order more when my dog grows up. * Mink oil may darken your collar slightly. The first photo is before applying the oil and the second is when I applied the oil for the first time. I let the collar dry overnight and it gets a little lighter.
