The IOTA DLS-45/IQ4 replaced the existing converter in my 2006 Fleetwood Gearbox 220FB toy dump truck. The old converter still worked, but it didn't have the intelligence that the IOTA converter has. With the onboard generator running, it didn't charge as quickly as I expected from two Trojan T-105 6V GC batteries. I rarely camp where there is shore power, so the charge from the generator should be good (if the solar charge isn't enough). IOTA is approaching where the old converter was. The only problem was that only two of the existing nut mounting holes would fit on the new block. It was close enough. With just those two mounts, the transducer didn't move at all. I cut off the three prong connector and connected the converter directly to the existing bare wires. The new converter makes more noise when doing its job. It's not annoying, just different. It would be nice if IOTA connected a remote monitoring panel to the converter so I could see what it's doing.
