Leather, no cardboard

I almost bought this product because a review said the material was cardboard and cheaply made. What they sent me looks, feels and smells like real leather. I'm happy with that. I wanted something that would protect my passport when I'm sweating through my shirt in Southeast Asia. This will work fine, although it gets too thick when loaded with maps. I will keep them in my wallet. I found a similar product that I like better, but it costs $100 more.
