They look more fragile and thin than they really are. These clips are very strong and hold the hair well. They are very shiny and beautiful in person. I have received many compliments when wearing them. Give them a chance! For the price this is a good deal. I bought them because I wanted to decorate my hair and look fun but still look like an adult. These did their job.
