From first impressions the TicPods look very similar to AirPods, perhaps a little bit bigger. The case is nice but the top feels rather weak and seems as if it could easily be broken. The size is really nice and I like that it is USB C type port for charging (however it's not recommended to use USB C to USB C -- can't use my pixel charger to charge the case). The tic pods are light as is the case which is nice. The comfort is not great. Ear pods rarely fit perfectly comfortably in my ears and it's not really a surprise that these are no exception. However, with that being said, they stay in my ears even when moving around a lot. While shaking my head or bouncing up and down, they don't move at all which is really nice same thing goes with biking or running. Volume control is nice but it seems a little jumpy at times (perhaps it's a communication thing over Bluetooth). Tapping feature to pause the music is nice, but it would be helpful if I could do single tap to pause, 2 taps to skip, and 3 taps to go back. Only 2 taps is supported probably to reduce false positives. The sound quality is fine. The bass is alright, nothing spectacular (they are still ear pods after all) but it's everything I need in headphones and I can't complain. There was one instance I had them in the case for about 8 hours, and when I used them next, they only had 1% charge and died after a minute. that was very frustrating. It's almost as if they weren't sitting in the case properly which is a little upsetting because I would think they would be designed to fit perfectly. After a couple of weeks, the sound quality seemed to diminish. Additionally I can't seem to use them with my laptop anymore during web meetings because it makes people's talking voices extremely low to where it's only the lowest bass that I can hear (and can't understand). I was not happy when that happened because that was a large reason I want earphones is to join online meetings. Also after about 20-30 minutes of use, the tic pods start to hurt my ears which is sad. I was really looking for something a little more comfortable. All in all, they're okay headphones but they aren't worth the price tag in my opinion. I will mention it's really nice that they stay in during workouts -- that is a HUGE win for these and bring my rating up significantly.Out of 10, I would rate these a solid 5.
