Best limb brace made

I had a melanoma removed from my arm which also required a skin graft from my leg to repair the damage to my arm. Both areas had to be wrapped in gauze for several months. I can tell you from experience that your surgeon's office is of little help in providing information on how to obtain the material you need. They will take you out of their office in good shape and then you will be on your own for daily needs. I've tried all the standard Ace bandages and other materials, but Coban is by far the best solution for holding any significant size gauze in place. flexible skin wounds on limbs. No glue is applied so it won't stick to skin but sticks very well when wrapping a limb. It is more flexible, easier to wrap and stays in place better than an Ace wrap. I find the 3" width to be the easiest to work with and I like the color choice especially for use in visible areas - less of a repulsive and medical look for your friends and family - more like a sporting item than medical. Since there are many colors available and multiple sizes to suit your needs and taste. Koban is disposable after use, not for washing etc. but I have found that with careful handling I can reuse it once or twice. Of course, always replace the gauze in direct contact with the wound to minimize the risk of infection.FWIW- I've also tried knock-offs of Coban that are often sold in US pharmacies and many of them are poorly made, sticking together so badly that it's almost impossible to unwrap them , but they don't fit well when wrapping a limb. Sometimes generic copies are good, but not here - I suggest you stay b ei original Coban products.
