I ordered this product for parents. You don't have cable or satellite TV at home and just wanted to watch TV wirelessly. I chose this antenna because it looks classy and seems so easy that my dad could install it himself. When I received the product I was very surprised at how light it is. The product must not weigh more than 4 ounces. I doubted that such a light antenna would actually work. When I gave it to my dad he installed it in less than 5 minutes. This antenna really connects and works. There is only one coax cable coming out of the antenna and you just have to screw it into the back of the TV. Now there are 2 possibilities to place the antenna. It has a built in stand so you can put it on a shelf. Or, if you prefer to mount it, there are two keyholes on the back. We first tried placing the antenna on a shelf directly above the TV. This brought about 180 channels (Los Angeles area). However, the signal was very weak on most channels, causing pauses in the video every few seconds. We then tried the wall mount option. This resulted in a dramatic improvement in the signal to the point where there were no more breaks in the video. Father seemed pleased with the results. This antenna is unamplified, meaning it is not powered. So here's the gist. If you already have an OTA antenna, replacing it with this product probably won't improve your situation. However, if you don't have an antenna and are looking for a simple, stylish, and easy to install antenna, I think this will help you.
