I have used these in two different areas and both have been great due to the thickness is working. Comfortable for walking but I just warn you that they can be very slippery when wet. I wouldn't use them in the hallway or next to the shower, but I had one in the bedroom and common room (to protect my carpet and floor from the weight of movement and impact, they worked great for my application. Also good for kneeling and one Knee pads, be careful if it gets wet.
