Ideal for olive oil and balsamic vinegar bottles. These dispensers make it much easier to control the flow and direction of these liquids. The narrow opening minimizes spills and the lid keeps air and particles out. I believe one review was about getting air into the bottle through a small "pressure hole". The hole is really small. The cap has a plastic lever attached to an "O-ring" to hold it on the bottle. I put an "O-ring" on the hole when the bottle is not in use.
