I really liked this shirt because of the shading. It's a very subtle transition from one color to another and it blends in so beautifully. The blue is what I ordered and it's such a beautiful blue. Not a cheap looking blue. if it makes sense and it's not a bright blue - in my opinion it's a calm blue. Order the size you normally wear, that's my opinion. Very well made and washes well. I hang it up to dry so I can't comment on how it performs in the dryer. very good
