Waterproof, dustproof and with 10 watts of power, I can talk loud and clear to my friend a little over ten miles away if I can manage to get to a low altitude. However, the Kenwood NX-P1302AUK UHF is about twice the price, consumes only 2W and can't even compete with my cheap little Baofeng 5R (4.7W), let alone my Baofeng UV-H6/H7 (7W). ). If you want 2W walkie-talkies, winky-tinkies or what I call walkie-talkies, go for Kenwood. They're good and last a long time, and at 2 watts they don't drain the battery. If you want powerful HTs that last a long time and drain your wallet, choose Retevis and buy a few extra batteries with the bucks saved. Either way, you can't go wrong.
