I've only had it a week but it did exactly what I needed. Although it's not designed for stereo, that's why I bought it. Having recently purchased a Shure 55 microphone, I wanted to use it for both recording and live performance. The sound from the Shure 55 was amazing, but with only one jack on my Scarlett 2i2 I only recorded sound for my left ear. I needed the mic to connect to both the left and right Scarlett ports so my MacBook would pick up the left and right signal. This splitter did the job. Very helpful and very good. I record with Garage Band on my MacBook Pro. And Scarlett 2i2.
