I bought this cart to break the 1TB hard drive size limit for the main Dell Latitude E6430 hard drive. I left my current 1TB Windows 7 Professional drive as the primary drive and installed a 2TB Seagate FireCuda SSHD as a drive in the trash. Seagate FireCuda Gaming SSHD 2TB SATA 6.0Gb/s Internal 2.5" Laptop/Notebook Hard Drive (ST2000LX001) . After formatting the new hard drive and partitioning it into NTFS partitions, it became accessible from Windows. At first I was concerned about the FireCuda's power consumption and how that might affect battery life. I didn't notice a significant drop in battery life. Verdict: It was a very good investment to squeeze some life out of an aging Dell laptop.
