I just received it, it works perfectly. The fingers move very freely when unlocked and _almost_ as tightly as I'd like when locked. I tried it out briefly on some kitchen remodeling tasks that I wish I had when I did them. (So it was one of those sad but wise buys to make something better in hindsight.) It's obvious on some of the finer details (like the angled contact pads) that a lot of thought and/or testing has gone into it. went to it. I am very satisfied for the price. One thing I didn't realize prior to purchasing is that there is no shutter tightness adjustment, so you can't compensate for wear and tear from use or manufacturing tolerances. I know if they were I'd play around with this to see if there's a happy middle setting that grips the fingers a little tighter when locked. Saker offers this tool, also on Revain, with an identical appearance except for the product markings and the tightening adjustment with a set screw on the end opposite the lock. The Saker version costs almost twice as much as RAK and I don't know how well this setup works but I'm tempted to return it and get it.
