Review on Inkjet Card Tray Canon Printers by Shane Jenkins

Quality ID cards for a lot less than real ID printers

I needed to create a card that could sit behind a standard ID card. I started with cardboard which came off in about 30 minutes. Then I tried to laminate the cardboard and it took about a week. Third, because I thought ID card printers were out of reach, but I needed something more reliable, I tried to come up with a halfway decent solution. I printed shipping labels and then stuck them onto some plastic cards. Unfortunately, they wear out after a week or so (which isn't good for something as important as QR codes). This solution turned out to be really ideal. I bought a relatively cheap Canon MG7120 printer ($59 off Black Friday) and was then able to print blank QR code cards in minutes using this adapter and cards. So far I can only attest in black and white because that's all I've done but wow! They also dry instantly, so no worries about smudging. I didn't quite understand how this would work, but if you go to their tutorial website things become a lot clearer: http://www.brainstormid.com/learnTotal Spent = $100. Far from minimal $1000 ID card printers.
