Review on INSIZE 1178 300 Electronic Caliper 1 18 12 by Jacob Kuntz

I bought this caliper a year ago to measure the internal grooves on hydraulic flanges. I had high expectations for this item. It feels surprisingly durable and well built, but don't let that fool you. It has been used maybe 10 times. the rest of the time it was kept in a case in the tool box. I needed it last week, I took it out of the case and tried to use it. It goes from 0 to 50,60,40. I replaced the battery and tried opening it slowly but it still doesn't work. This tool is not reliable and I strongly recommend buying another brand.
