Very rough surface works best for kids backpacks

We kept this backpack because my daughter likes it for kindergarten. However, I award three stars for three reasons: 1. The surface is very rough - as if you could scratch it with your knuckles. 2. The strip of material that forms the "flap" that closes the zipper makes it difficult to access the zipper to open the backpack. 3. This backpack is closer to $25 than the $40 we paid for it.
