I was looking for a good lamp for our guest room but also wanted a ceiling fan for those who prefer a lot of air circulation while sleeping. I didn't want a traditional ceiling fan as I was going for a more upscale look. This beautiful thing combined the best of both worlds and was easy to install! One point to let others know - I didn't realize that once installed you MUST use the remote to get full functionality. If you try to connect it to the light switch in the traditional way, it will perform different functions every time you turn on the switch (e.g. if you turn on the wall switch, the light and fan will turn on. You switch the second one on The third time you turn on the light only the fan turns on then the cycle repeats The remote control is very easy to use and really is the best way to control the entire system The wall switch is quite far from the Guest bed removed so we bought a second remote control to place by the beds so our guests can easily turn on the light with the first remote control which we fixed on the wall next to the door They enter the room but can also control everything with the 2md bedside remote.The customer service was great and helped us to buy a second remote to make the system work like this ert as we intended. great value for money and so far guests have been impressed with how unique and cool it is!
