I have a 150 pound Alaskan Malamute who is still growing. Luckily this collar fits him and he still has room to grow! He had a very bad habit of getting excited and jumping over people. Given the height and weight of another person, this behavior with children in the home was unacceptable and dangerous. However, using vibration and just sound helped a lot! I've only used the shock option a couple of times on the lowest settings when he decided he didn't want to cooperate, but in just 2 short weeks he found out the warning tone was serious and we'd never need to move on to any further discipline. !
