A few years ago I bought a coffee maker for my coffee because my coffee maker didn't work. To prevent coffee grounds from getting into the coffee, a special filter was needed. It seemed like a good deal for the price, so I bought it. These filters are slightly thicker than other filters, which doesn't alter the taste. The only problem is that the holes for attaching it to the coffee maker weren't always cut through. This made it difficult to set the pot for brewing. You had to be sure you positioned them correctly or you would end up with a ground coffee. The rest of the product is ok.
