Review on Sockwell Women's Circulator Compression Sock with Moderate Graduated Support by Carl Movahed

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very comfortable and cuddly

I've wanted compression stockings for on the go for a long time. I had compression stockings that I used for running and they are very tight so I was wary of traveling in compression stockings. I saw the reviews for this brand and decided to give it a try. I didn't rate them for training because I don't use them for that. Those sold for exercise are usually made from polypropylene and come in a variety of compression ratios, measured in mmHg. Art. (millimeters of mercury). You can also choose by compression gradient for on the go. If you suffer from conditions such as varicose veins or blood clots in the extremities, your doctor can help you select the compression gradient that is most appropriate for you. For those who just want a bit of comfort for long flights or trips where your feet are in a dependent position (below your heart level). or you know you can't move much, this would be a good choice. I can put them on much easier than wearing compression stockings. They're harder to put on than regular socks, but overall they're easy to put on and take off. I was afraid these socks would get too hot as they are merino wool (I live in Texas). But the fabric actually feels breathable when I wear them. Very similar to a pair of ordinary cotton socks. They don't have that "itchy wooly feel" that many wool socks have. Merino wool wicks moisture away from my feet. The fabric and the entire sock has a soft upward compression. I wear size 8 women's shoes, so I bought size ML. I love her! I can pick up a second pair in a different color!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Piggy bank Price
