The OEM charger that came with the Galaxy Tab 2 7" is a piece of crap, not even a replacement. I also replaced the battery in my $30 GT27 because you really can't tell the OEM -Charger not working properly. Gosh GT27 pretended to be charging but wasn't, it only recognized the data cable was plugged in. If you didn't know this "warning" you would probably think that Charger is normal and that there must be a problem with the battery As soon as you see that the device does not charge after two hours, I think my first battery was fine (good thing I kept it) than this charger arrived it worked like a charm to quickly charge my GT 27. I am a happy backpacker.
