I took a chance on a cheap flashlight and it worked. Compared to the light I know it's 200lm, this one could be a bit brighter, at least 250lm. The declared 300lm are therefore quite plausible. The tail light is pretty good considering how much this kit costs. My concern is that the light must go through all modes and cannot work otherwise. So you can't switch between low and high while driving, you have to switch between flash and off. The flashlight also comes with a battery with no charge, which is unacceptable for lithium batteries. But the light is bright as advertised and the build quality is fine. I would probably buy again.
