These gloves are very comfortable and have a soft feel. These gloves were for my husband who has large hands. I tried them on and they almost fit my hand. I would wear these gloves for this task. Timberland is known for manufacturing quality items. They say these gloves must be hand washed. These gloves have an embroidered logo and a printed logo. Black and gray are fairly neutral colors and can be worn with most colored jackets or coats. They'll be a favorite find in our glove compartment, where the family grabs gloves when shoveling snow, fetching firewood, or walking the dog. go etc.
