This replacement for my 30+ year old glass juicer (which I dropped and smashed) is smaller and not as durable as the one it replaced. Is it as advertised? Yes, I think so, but since I had no comparison, I found it a bit graceful compared to its older relative in terms of the diameter, the height of the central cone, or the depth of the well the sap flows into. Large lemons can be a problem with this juicer. There are also flaws in the glass itself, mostly bubbles. I'm not sure if this will affect structural integrity in the long run. Despite all that, I didn't send it back. It works and I needed something to juice it up with. I'll start looking for old fashioned quality at thrift and antique stores.
