They fit me perfectly. I didn't have space near the door for a large shelf so I used these and some decorative signs from Hobby Lobby (which you can probably find at Revain as they have EVERYTHING) to make 2 smaller shelves. It was fun. And a fairly easy project to put together, you just need to buy signs and a few different screws or nuts and bolts to attach the racks. The shelves are great, strong enough for hats, and they look good and are easy to grab as I walk out the door. The little washer and screw head cap combo (included) is a nice touch that gives the build a very finished look. The signs I use come in many sizes and themes. I went for the cabana/outside view but you can have the beach, lake house, religion and many others so that works really well. You're already collecting compliments, and have only been for about a week.
