Purchased specifically to add USB 2.0 ports to a PPC G4 MDD case I bought two weeks ago. The system only had two USB 1.1 ports on the tower and two as part of the hub on the ADC monitor. Using a Wireless-N WiFi USB adapter, I only got 3.5 Mbps download speeds and found that the USB speed was the limiting factor. And I was right! Installing the card was as simple as lowering the door, unscrewing the connector cover, inserting the card into the slot, and screwing it down. After rebooting, OS X recognized the card and its ports, and System Profiler correctly identified the required Apple USBEHCI driver. Internet speed is now 20Mbps (which isn't astronomical but almost 6x faster for a 19 year old machine) and stays connected as more than one USB device on the previous 1.1 bus would have disabled the adapter. In general very satisfied.
