The shelf was easy to assemble and looks very nice. Considering how well everything was packaged, I was surprised to see that the finish was scratched in a few spots, but those spots wouldn't be very noticeable if actually used. Baskets were the main downside of this purchase. Just by taking one out of my pocket I left tons of junk on the carpet. I opened one above the box and you can see how many things fell out. I quickly realized that the baskets wouldn't work for what I wanted to use them for (yarn projects). Luckily, I've found that regular cloth cubes work just fine, at least until I find better baskets. Save money and hassle and buy the shelf separately (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000NPSJ8M/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1) and then find better baskets.
