They definitely work but only 1 complaint
I've used them on a 6 pin RGB+CCT LED strip and you can get a good contact/connection on either end, you just have to push the pins firmly and try to cut the LED strip so that more copper is visible on one side (although you'll lose every segment of the strip between cuts, this still guarantees good contact). My only complaint is that I wish they had made the wires shorter so they could be looped around in tight corners.
