Forget the rest...: Carpet cleaners and deodorants

...you've just found the best. a cat that isn't fussy about where they vomit, I wanted a hardwood floor cleaner as well as a stain remover. I also wanted to follow Shaw's recommended care and maintenance guidelines. Well, yesterday I checked the stuff. I installed shoe lasts around the perimeter of the kitchen. I pre-painted the bar, but would like to rub down the cut ends where the bar does not rest. Well, in doing so I accidentally allowed one end of a 10 foot piece to come in contact with a brand new rug my wife bought. I had no idea when this happened, I didn't realize it until I started cleaning up my mess. The whole job took me about 1 1/2 hours so it's possible the stain lasted that long. After this momentous discovery, two thoughts came to my mind. 1) I will die at the hands of my wife if she finds out I ruined her new carpet. 2) Finally I can try this stain remover. Now remember this is an OIL BASED stain. Along with oil-based paint, few things can clean up this stuff, and those options are pretty tricky. I simply sprayed a 3 inch stain/swab with Shaw stain remover and wiped the area with a dry cloth. The stain almost disappeared before my eyes!😳 Another thing I like about this product is that it doesn't need to be washed off. Other stain removers must be washed off with a damp cloth. But we all know that soap doesn't wash off completely. The residue is sticky and will only attract more dirt. I got my carpet dirty in everyday life. I've attached a picture of the area of the carpet where the stain used to be. I love this product. I'm curious to see how it handles other stains.

Pros
  • Also suitable for removing most types of stains, including oil-based stains
Cons
  • Legacy
