I bought these pants hoping to use them in sports because I liked the high waist and the way they hit the hips like Bermuda shorts. I'm in between sizes and to be honest I don't know how much I weigh or what size I am. I do a lot of HIIT and strength training. I didn't want to take L/XL for my own vanity. I rolled and went to S/M. Not only did they fit, but they were a bit roomy at the waist. I would say it's generous but if your size is over 4/6 US they may be too big for you. I know I'm not small and work my way into Wednesday. The best thing about them. When I moved, my waist stayed where it should have been. No spinning tape, yes please! I definitely wrote it down. Whether you just want something for shorts, leggings or sports this is just amazing.
