I couldn't get the 512GB INDMEM block to be recognized in a 2013 Macbook Air. Even after upgrading the Macbook to Catalina on a 128GB SSD and replacing INDMEM with a 512GB Macbook, it behaved like nothing was installed. I was ready to return the device. Based on some other reviews I googled and created a bootable Catalina install on a USB drive. 512GB INDMEM installed, booted from USB and here it is, 512GB INDMEM waiting to be formatted. An added bonus was formatting to APFS instead of Mac OS Extended since APFS was designed for SSDs. Thank you to the other reviewers who recommended this!
