This is my third pair of surgical gloves or mittens. I own and love their Southcamp five finger mitts and Highcamp three finger mittens, but I wanted regular mittens for those really cold days. They have one major advantage over all the other mittens that use five finger glove style liners - they have a matching fleece mitten liner to keep your fingers together and share warmth. So far I've worn them on ski days down to -11C and they've been warm enough without hand warmers. In addition, my order was quickly processed and shipped by Campmor even without Prime shipping. Now for the not so good ones. The inner glove is a great idea, but OR used an absurd trick in the form of magnets that supposedly hold the glove flap in place when open. It's a silly and unnecessary idea, but to make matters worse, the magnets on the thumbs make it completely impossible to wear comfortably. They're arranged in a way that's constantly annoying, as you can see from other reviews and FAQs. The reason I'm still giving three stars is because it's easy enough with a sharp knife or scissors to cut the magnets out of the sections of the grid holding them in place and throw them away. The other not so good aspect is just false advertising - contrary to the manufacturer's description there is no hand pocket on the liners so if you use hand warmers then they are not for you. So the last word. potential greatness marred by a few silly design flaws.
