I have bought various TSA approved locks in the past but as I keep losing things or keys on them I have decided to purchase additional locks for the upcoming trip. I took a chance with this set of locks and here is my experience: Pros locks are quite easy to use. To set your combination, simply move the small metal lever on the lock, set your combination and move the lever back. That's all. Since these are combination locks, I think it's nice that you don't have to take a bunch of keys with you to open them. The red button that shows if security has opened your lock is a nice touch. The price for this amount of TSA locks seems reasonable. Not great, but not bad either. Inexpensive, overall great for added security, no key required. Cons: Impossible to tell one castle from another. If you set them to a different combination, you'll have to remember which combination goes with which castle, or mark them somehow. I recommend that you reset the locks back to the default combination after use so you can keep using them. - While the locks are generally easy to use, I find it a bit annoying to turn the metal lever. lock back and forth to set combos. Due to the small size of the lever, you need to use something the right size so your tool doesn't slip off the lever and you can lift it to the other side. Some pen or pencil tips may work, but others may not work as well. I've always resorted to a small flat tool on my multi-tool or swiss army knife. These locks also don't come with a spare key to help you access your luggage if you forget your combo. When that happens, I don't think you have any way of picking your lock other than by force. These locks are probably not very secure. The wire shackles look like they could be cut with regular scissors if you press hard enough. However, these locks are only intended to provide extra security for your luggage, so I am not very confident in the security of this product. So I am very satisfied with my purchase. While I wish they were more convenient in some ways, they certainly get the job done.
