Unscrewing the taper and screwing on the end piece is difficult, but could've been because it was slippery from the lubricant I used. I might've irritated my ears by moving the piercing around while screwing, but lube helps as always. And wiggling the piercing does significantly less damage than forcing a blunt piercing in after stretching. Screwing the end piece in is also nice because, unlike rubber backings that risk falling off at night, these stay in without risking it falling out. Tip: I taper from back to front, and screw it in from the front, easiest way to see what I'm doing.
