I bought this device in February 2018 and the mesh network worked pretty well until September 2018. The main problem I had at the time was that I couldn't get activity reports for any of my children. In September I had trouble connecting to the app when trying to open it. It became sporadic but gradually worsened. I installed the app on another device and had the same problem. I was able to connect directly to the router's setup URL with no issues and also make changes to the configuration. I did a factory reset and the problem was gone for a while. I emailed support and they said they were having issues with Ally Server and that I should keep trying to open the app and let them know if the problem persists. After a week I couldn't get the app to work anymore. I'm sick of it and I'm getting rid of it for another mesh brand.
