I've had this bowl for over 4 years and it's still my favorite! It's made of soft, flexible, food-grade silicone and the edges are designed in the shape of milk squirts. It's large and holds a large cereal bowl. My son also uses it occasionally to make ramen noodles and so far I haven't had any stains, although I avoid putting tomato-based products in this bowl. She is very flexible, but not flexible. and keeps its shape very well. My 6 year old granddaughter easily carries it to the table filled with cereal and milk without spilling anything. It's safe to use in the microwave, but like any silicone, it becomes more flexible when hot, so I'd say it's better for cold and warm food than hot. suitable for very hot food. I had no problem ripping off "spilled" parts. Looks the same as when you bought it. Very well done. And absolutely adorable.
