not recommended for other uses
I thought this might be a good replacement for battery operated tealights (hard to find small non-flickering candles). Unfortunately, after a few hours (or an hour depending on the batch) they fade significantly if not dead. Too unreliable for prolonged use, although I didn't imagine this would be a problem when used to light a disposable lantern or balloon.
