I typically would order XL in something like this, which I did. However, being fairly lite weight it seems more suitable to be worn over thinner clothes, in which case it ends up being too large. I sent it back for a large. It way have been usable in XL but the large arm holes made it look too big.The hood is fairly deep which is what I wanted and the fabric is soft. I couldn't really rate comfort since I only tried it on without wearing it for any length of time, tho it seems that it would be comfortable. The same goes for stretch, the fabric has the quality of stretchiness but it was loose enough that I couldn't really tell on my body.Update: Walmart sent out a Large per my request and it fits much better. The size is more snug but being a fairly stretch fabric it feels very comfortable. I ordered a white vest with a black hood. On the inside, which is black the white thread is pretty noticeable especially at the ends of stitching rows. That is easily addressed, in my case, with a black marker but if you do the same, make it brief contact, you don't want black to suck through the thread to the white side. The bigger issue is the stitch ends. In some places they are not very tight and seem likely to loosen in time. I'd like to see a bit better quality control in this area.I would recommend this product.
