FIT This cart is almost perfect for my Thinkpad T440p. Very little movement when the caddy is secured in the laptop. Ultimately I want it to be a perfect fit, but I think that's the price you pay when you make a case that fits the T440p, T540p, W540, etc. INSTALLATION The installation was a fairly simple process. Lenovo has an online guide that shows you how to install the caddy in a laptop bay. With the T440p, simply remove the bottom cover, unscrew the CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive, and then remove the drive. Then put the HDD/SSD into the cage, slide the cage into the bay and secure it with the screw. Attach the bottom cover and you're done. Make sure the screw that secures the drive/cradle to the bay does not come out of the hole. SERVICE I've been using it for 2 weeks now and haven't had any problems. The cart has a blue LED that is always on to let you know it's on as it has power and is working. There is also a red LED that flashes when the HDD/SSD is active. I would prefer if there was only one LED for activity. Although the LEDs are low power, I want to save as much power as possible since I just added a second drive to the system.
