Review on ARANA Toyota Matrix Liftgate Lift Supports - Set Of 2 (2009-2013) by Adam Gray

Ordered Wednesday & arrived Monday even though I have prime membership. We just installed it & are pleased with the ease of installation. Required a 10mm wrench, strap (or another person to hold hatch up or a mop etc) and a flat head screwdriver. My son used a tie down strap & attached it to the garage opener & hatch hook to keep hatch up during install. Install took 6 min tops each side. Hatch is working again! Too soon to rate performance but my arms are not the strongest & I hope isn't a struggle to pull hatch down!***Update March 2019: these struts are keeping the hatch up when it is open but they are starting to not open the hatch all the way. I have to push the hatch up when It's 1/2 way up. Kind of annoying if your hands are full but once It's up, it stays up which was our main concern.
