I've used a lot of oil based cleaners. All of them are well emulsified when water is added and then washed off thoroughly. This, no matter how many times I washed my face, left a greasy film on my face when I washed it. After that I cleaned my skin twice with a good non-greasy cleanser. It helped a little, but I had to use a toner (which I usually do) to get rid of the oily film on my skin's surface. My skin started to feel good after I finished my usual skincare routine. Routine but get unusually oily during the day (or at night if I used this cleanser before bed). I broke out within 2 days of starting using this cleanser. Apparently, a double cleansing and toning wasn't enough to get the oil out of my pores. I don't know if I will get my money back since opening and using this product but it is absolutely horrible. There are dozens of great, inexpensive oil-based cleaners out there. Gentle on your skin - don't waste your money on that hot porridge.
