Bought so I can listen to my 90 year old father when he needs us. Put a bell in his TV room and another in his bedroom. Everything matches the main PA system I have in a socket next to my bedroom. His bedroom and TV room are on the other side of the house and when he needs me he rings the bell and I can hear it from anywhere including outside on the porch. It has some different "rings" and also a volume control. Works perfectly. Give us some freedom and give him some peace of mind. Highly recommended.
