Review on Enhanced Connectivity and Gaming Experience: Buffalo AirStation AC1300 / N450 4-Port Gigabit Dual Band Wireless Ethernet Bridge and Gaming Adapter - WLI-H4-D1300 by Drake Burroughs

Works well, easy setup, faster than N but not 1300 Mbps

Buffalo WLI-H4-D1300 replaces the D-Link DAP-1522 wireless bridge that was used to connect various components in my home theater system to my home network. Using a Netgear R6300 as a wireless AC router standing about 50 feet away in an upstairs room. Installing the bridge was quite easy. I did not use the AOSS/WPS buttons to connect to the router. Instead, I installed the Ethernet converter software on the CD that came with it and manually configured the 5GHz Wireless AC Bridge from there (note that there is also Air Station software for the Buffalo WZR-D1800H Wireless AC Router on the CD ). ). There is also a button on the back that switches the bridge between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. When 5GHz is active, a small 5GHz LED remains on the front of the bridge and stays lit. It was a much easier manual setup than the previous D-Link bridge it replaces. The Ethernet converter software shows that the signal strength varies by 48% between 498 Mbps and 535 Mbps. A bit pricey at the moment, but that's what you get as an early adopter.
